Since posting the Disney World Party Rock video, I have shown it to EVERYONE. The same few questions keep popping up, so I’m here to give you answers:
Q: Did you plan the video before going on the trip?
A: Yes, I brought the idea to everyone in the video and they loved it. The night I got in, I mapped out what I wanted to film, except we didn’t follow that at all. Most of the filming happened on the last day. The rest were funny moments that just happened.
Q: Was Teddy, that guy in the cut off, really sleeping?
A: Yes! He loves sleeping. That was one of the funny moments. Before waking him up, we knew we had to get it on film.
Q: How did you get the characters to jump?
A: I first asked them if they could dougie, but they shook their heads no, so we jumped instead. I don’t know how to dougie either, so it’s cool.

Q: What type of cameras were you using?
A: We had 3 Kodak Playsports and 2 Canon 60ds. The Playsport is waterproof and films in HD. The Canon 60d were the cameras that filmed the best quality scenes aka the ones with the fuzzy background.

Q: Did you go anywhere else besides the Disney Parks?
A: No. We all took advantage of our Premier passes. I used video footage that was taken in the 6 parks. The video did not include our frequent outings to Earl of Sandwich, Disney Quest and free daily Ghiradelli chocolate square samplings at Downtown Disney.
Other facts:
The only time we had background music was when we filmed in the car. The shakey “ride” was our rental car.
It might seem like we were just filming to create a great home video on vacation, but we did enjoy lots of rides, attractions and food while the cameras weren’t rolling. We made a video game at Epcot (play here), and got these sweet freeloader ride pictures!

There’s something satisfying about cashing in on delicious French pastries, instead of money, when making stupid bets.
One of my favorite rides Disneyland doesn’t have is Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom.

The trivia board at Sid Cahuenga’s One-Of-A-Kind Store at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was dominated by none other than team “Asian Persuasion”…yes, Tommy literally named our team “Asian Persuasion”.
I celebrated my birthday…with an abu hat.

The best time to go to Disneyworld as a passholder is when Disney is giving out free stuff to passholders. Doesn’t matter what it is. I’ll take 2. In this case it was Star Tours lanyards, and yes, I got 2.
Last Orlando trip, Teddy’s signature was putting up a peace sign in every photo. This time, it was an angry face. I don’t know why.

Segways.

There was also lots of Monopoly Deal. It was a great trip and bittersweet to come home. One of the best parts was bringing home my customized rice krispy treat.

P.S. For all of you that are wondering, this is my last Disney World post for awhile now.
